During a worrying time in the hospital with a broken orbital bone, concerned about potentially losing my left eye, NK recommended a documentary called "Grain" to me. The film explores why shooting on film is considered superior to other mediums. Ironically, after watching it, I made a firm commitment to shoot digitally for an entire year. This resulted in a B&W series documenting my life in Berlin, combining still life, street photography, and portraiture.
